Please read the following articles (click on the title to visit the article).

Your reflection should reflect on your experiences or behavior that led to you being found in violation of university policy. Please choose at least two or three points from any of the articles and discuss why those points stuck out to you as you reflect on your own decision-making process.

Consider the following questions. Feel free to pick and choose the most relevant questions to you.

  • Why do those particular ideas resonate with you?
  • Consider the ideas you chose in the context of your decision to engage in policy-violating behavior. Please be specific, concrete and realistic.
  • Consider the ideas you chose in the context of your academics. How can the ideas in these articles connect to your academic success?
  • Consider the ideas you chose in the context of your other goals you have for yourself at John Carroll. If you are a first year student, you might think back to the reflection and goal setting exercise you completed at your Orientation.  If you are not a first-year student, consider what goals you have developed for yourself during your time at John Carroll. Be specific. How can the ideas in these articles connect to your success in reaching those goals?

Your reflection should be at least 750 words.
