Endorsement Programs

The Ohio Department of Education provides endorsements in certain professional areas. The candidate pursuing an endorsement must initially possess a valid ODE teaching license in order to be eligible for an endorsement.

The Department of Education & School Psychology has approved curriculum in the following endorsement content areas:

To seek admission to the endorsement programs, a candidate must:

  • Submit an application.
  • Meet the same criteria as required of degree-seeking students.
  • Be interviewed as part of the application process.
  • Apply at either the post-baccalaureate or post-master’s level.

NOTE: Admission to a certificate program does not imply admission to a graduate degree program. The Department reviews the application and makes a recommendation regarding admission to Graduate Studies.
