  • Tuition Waiver: Part-time instructors who have taught for five cumulative semesters and are actively teaching are eligible to take one course every twenty-four months provided they are actively teaching during the time they are taking the course. Read the Tuition Waiver Policy for more information. Completed Tuition Wavier Request Forms will be forwarded to the Provost and Academic Vice President’s Office for approval.
  • Retirement Plan Elective Contributions: All employees of the University are eligible to contribute on a tax deferred basis to a supplemental retirement fund by completing the Retirement Plan Elective Contribution Form. There are limits set by the IRS on how much can be contributed each year. This plan also contains provisions for loans and hardship withdrawals.

  • Recreation Center Access: All employees enjoy access to the University recreation and fitness center including group fitness training programs.
  • Ohio Educational Credit Union (OECU): The OECU is a full service financial institution. An OECU representative is on campus monthly to answer any questions. Contact the Human Resources Department to schedule an individual appointment.
  • Athletic Events: Employees enjoy free access to regular season JCU athletic events by showing your Carroll Card.
