This specialization equips students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Through a combination of theoretical and practical coursework, students learn how to create and launch new ventures, as well as how to drive innovation within existing organizations.
Overview
In addition to developing the skills needed to start and grow new businesses, students in the innovation & entrepreneurship specialization also learn how to be effective leaders and communicators. They gain an understanding of how to build and manage teams, negotiate with stakeholders, and pitch their ideas to investors and customers.
This specialization is ideal for students who are interested in pursuing careers as entrepreneurs, innovators, product developers, product managers or intrapreneurs within established organizations.
