The orientation program begins with check in from 9:30-10:30 a.m. It is important that you arrive during that time in order to take advantage of the University Resource Fair.
The orientation program concludes when you have finished registering for classes, had your picture taken for your Carroll Card, and met with representatives of Financial Aid for an individual appointment.
An orientation fee of $325 will appear on your fall tuition bill, which will be mailed to you in July. This fee covers meals, overnight housing, staffing, for both the student and their guests, as well as advising and registration fees.
Incoming new students who are attending Orientation sessions 1-6 in June or July are required to stay overnight in an on-campus residence hall. Bed linens, a pillow, and towels are provided in each room.
Parents & Guardians
Parents and guardians will follow a parallel schedule to that of their son or daughter and will be together for just a few sessions during the orientation.
