The Institut Catholique d’Etudes Supérieures, (ICES) “Catholic Institute of Higher Studies” is a small private college in La Roche sur Yon, in the Vendée region of France. Its educational model, the University School, is a combination of the French public university model and the Grand Ecole. ICES has academic programs in the following areas: Law, History, Languages, French Literature & Classics, Biology, Mathematics & Physics, and Political Science.

Housing

Housing arrangements are made through the International Relations Office at ICES. Most students will live in apartments near campus. There is a housing stipend from the French government, which is available to JCU students and must be applied for after arrival at ICES. This stipend covers up to 40% of the cost of housing.

Financial Aid

Students are eligible to use all John Carroll University financial aid, with the exception of work-study. Additional scholarship funds may be available from external sources.

Applications
