You answered the call of national service and put your life on the line for our country. You’ve earned the right to the high quality Jesuit education that John Carroll University can provide.

John Carroll has a long-standing history of hosting military programs, beginning with the U.S. Navy V-12 program during World War II, and continuing since the establishment of a host Army ROTC program in 1952. The University has been officially recognized by GI Jobs magazine as a “Military Friendly” school every year since 2009, placing us in the top 15% of all schools nationwide with respect to our support for veteran students.

Veterans have been coming to John Carroll University for years using previous versions of the GI Bill® coupled with scholarships, grants, and loans, and they still do. However, the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, signed into law in August of 2009, in conjunction with the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Yellow Ribbon cost-sharing program, has made a John Carroll education an affordable reality for today’s veterans without the need for any further grants or loans. If you are eligible for 100% benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, then you are also eligible for Yellow Ribbon and our JCU Patriot Award. You can attend John Carroll University full-time without any out-of-pocket costs for tuition!

More information regarding the total cost of attendance can be found here.
