The schedule of NJSLC will consist of workshops, presentations and community building for student delegates across Jesuit institutions. The conference will kick off on Tuesday, July 16 with the closing ceremony taking place on the evening of Friday, July 19.

Advisors will participate in an advisor track which is coordinated by JASPA.

FAQ

Student leaders from all Jesuit higher education institutions in the United States and Belize are invited to attend the conference. This is an appropriate opportunity for students who are beginning leadership roles within a variety of areas including orientation, student government, residence life, student organizations, diversity and inclusion, service learning and more. All delegations are accompanied by an advisor from the institution. Advisors will lead their delegations through reflection throughout the conference and are also invited to participate in the advisor track which is a series of workshops coordinated by JASPA.

The cost of registration per student delegate and advisor includes all meals (except one dinner), giveaway items, programming, and housing accommodations in the residence halls (including linens).

Yes, early arrival (on July 15) or late departure (on July 21) can be coordinated with the conference advisors. Please email leadership@jcu.edu to arrange your accommodations for early arrival or late departure.

For public transportation:

The Cleveland rapid train station at the airport is located on the lower level of the main terminal. To reach the RTA station, travelers should use the elevators or escalators located in the center of the ticketing and baggage claim levels. 

Take the red line to Tower City Station. At the Tower City Station, you will need to get off the train and transfer to the Green Line train. You will ride this train until the end of the line, which is the Green Rd. station. A JCU shuttle will pick up your delegation from this station and transport you to the John Carroll campus, which is an approximately 10-minute ride

For chartered transportation:

This link provides information on the charter options recommended by Cleveland Hopkins Airport. If you choose a chartered option, you should enter the destination address of 2420 Lalemant Rd, University Hts, OH, 44118. This will drop you off at the driveway to Murphy Hall, where NJLSC check-in will be taking place.

More information will be provided to delegations closer to conference dates.
