It's not enough to speak the language, one must also develop an understanding of world cultures in order to become a global citizen. The Department of Classical & Modern Languages & Cultures offers International Cultures courses aimed at providing a cross-cultural approach to understanding today’s multicultural world. They involve art, film, popular culture, historical perspectives, and literature. Most courses fulfill Core Curriculum requirements. All International Cultures courses are taught in English.

Course descriptions are listed in the Undergraduate Bulletin on the Classical & Modern Languages department page.
