Sociology and Criminology Minor Requirements

The minor consists of 6 courses (18 credit hours). With only two required classes, the minor gives flexibility in class choice and allows students to focus on their areas of interest.

  • SC 1010 Foundations in Sociology (3 cr.)
  • SC 4000 Sociological Theory (3 cr.)
  • A 3000 or 4000-level Sociology & Criminology elective (3 cr.)
  • Three other Sociology & Criminology elective courses (9 total cr.)
