John Boler began his career as a promising young graduate of the College of Business. After graduating in 1956, he moved quickly up the corporate ladder, beginning at Clevite Corporation’s Corporate office and then moving on to its parent company, the Gould Corporation. By age 43 he had facilitated or participated in 20 mergers and acquisitions for Gould. In 1977, he left Gould, Inc., and started his own company which would eventually become The Boler Company.
