Transfer to John Carroll University

Students who have already graduated from high school (or equivalent) and are in good academic, financial, and personal standing at another accredited university, college, or community college may apply to TRANSFER to JCU.

Students who have been absent from the University and do not have a valid or current Leave of Absence Form on file must formally apply for READMISSION to John Carroll University.

Key Transfer Admission Deadlines

Application Review

  • Fall semester application files will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in the preceding February. It is recommended that all required admission documents be submitted ten business days prior to the first day of the semester.
  • Spring semester applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in the preceding October. It is recommended that all required admission documents be submitted ten business days prior to the first day of the semester.

Financial Aid Awards

  • Financial aid for prospective transfer students will begin in April for fall enrollment and late November for spring enrollment.
