Zoom Software Updates

You should check for updates regularly and keep your Zoom software updated. To upgrade Zoom manually, click on your profile picture in the top-right hand corner of your Zoom desktop client and select “Check for Updates.” To learn more about upcoming and current releases, including changes to existing features and new features, refer to the Release Notes on the Zoom Help Center.

July 2020 Version 5.0: Zoom Meetings will Require Passcode and/or Waiting Room as of Sep 27, 2020. Learn more about the new updates.
April 27, 2020 Version 5.0: Beginning May 30, all Zoom users must be on 5.0 to join meetings, as Zoom is upgrading to GCM encryption. Learn more about the new updates for April 27, 2020.
April 21, 2020 Version 4.6.12: Enables users to send clickable links through the in-meeting chat
April 7, 2020 Version 4.6.10: Adds Security button in host's meeting toolbar
